Nice and easy

Location: Being near the Sears center is a plus. There are restaurants and stores nearby. It's an easy drive to/from O'Hare.
It was very easy to check in and out. The rooms are nice and comfortable and kept clean. There's a nice size bathroom for a hotel, and the shower is amazing; very modern, roomy and beautiful. The staff were all very friendly and eager to help in any way necessary.

Above and beyond

My stay was fabulous!! The staff at the hotel and restaurant were top notch and extremely friendly. I enjoyed the fitness center, the equipment was so much better than I anticipated. Definitely would stay here and will if I'm in the area again. Just not in the winter...way tooooo cold for a Southern Girl.

disappointing

Pros: none
Cons: honesty
Location: far from city
I booked a room with two beds. I was given room with one king bed. We were family of four with 2 kids. Reason given was they had no room left with 2 beds and that the room was requested but not guaranteed. I had already booked the room through travelocity.com and had made the payment. My reasoning is when I specifically requested the specific type room and given the number of people going to stay in the room, why was my booking accepted and that too since payment was going to be nonrefundable. Or was it supposed to be a trap. I don't know who is at fault, the website or the hotel, but this was my first such experience and I am not going to stay at this hotel again and will not recommend to anyone.

Chicago Marriott Hoffman Estates

My husband and I really enjoyed this hotel. Location is only about 15 miles from O'Hare but be careful, Chicago traffic can make the time it gets to the airport longer than you think. I asked the front desk how long it would take to get to O'Hare on a Monday morning during rush hour and she said about 40 minutes. And she was dead-on. Exactly 40 minutes. I was impressed!! The staff were incredibly professional and for that alone I would go back! The hotel was very clean and the decor was just beautiful as well as the grounds outside. Our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable! The bed was fabulous - down comforter, great pillows - we slept like a rock!! Great hot shower in the morning! We really can't find anything negative about this hotel, except that we were sad that we only stayed one night!
