Horrible experience
I was unable to reach the host and consequently was unable to get access to the VRBO I paid for. I tried for days in advance of my reservation all the way up to the day of and never got a response. Tried to communicate through the app, and directly via text and phone calls... never got a response.
The experience with customer service was also unideal. It took an hour to get ahold of a real person to tell them about the issue. They were also not able to reach the host and I was Passed along to another customer service agent. After 3 hours on the phone, they were only able to get me a hotel in the area for 1 of the 2 nights of my stay in Chicago, per their policy. It was a horrible experience that cost me a lot of money and I have yet to receive a refund for the stay I was unable to use. Simply unexcusable.
