This was an excellent choice for us. Close to the “L” and also buses. This hotel was very clean and as quiet as any city hotel can be. Location was walkable to so many good food options and attractions. Staff was very helpful and friendly. This was our first time to Chicago and it was awesome!

The room and bedding were comfortable. However, there were some strange things about the decor, such as writing on the full length mirror and lighting that didn’t really allow you to see yourself in the mirror. Also the lighting in the bathroom was indirect and not bright enough - some overhead lighting would have been helpful. Also, only one chair and it was so low that I couldn’t reach the desk and try as I might, I couldn’t figure out how to raise it.

Our flight to Chicago was cancelled and I had to change the check-in date to the next day. They were very accommodating. When we arrived at the hotel, the staff was friendly. We checked in to a very clean and spacious room. Classic deco. Very comfortable king-sized bed. A nice sized refrigerator, too. The hotel is walking distance from many shops and restaurants, very convenient. We enjoyed our stay.
