- unfriendly staff - tried to charge for disposable eating utensils when we didn’t have silverware for carry out; pool staff rude about using towels, number of towels (the staff person said it’s one per person and scolded us for attempting to get towels for young children), or setting towels on the wet tile so we didn’t slip - cleanliness - the hotel was still decked in Christmas decor in some areas. It’s late Jan. Felt like the werent on top of decor, and what’s that say about general cleanliness -in room greeting was for someone else, I’m assuming the previous guest. Felt weird that welcome screen on tv and materials weren’t updated to reflect our stay. We at first thought we were in the wrong room

I loved that I got free breakfast because of an Expedia perk. I enjoyed the pool and hot tub. The room was comfortable and clean. I didn’t love that the free parking option was a lot across and a little way the street. On a 10 degree day, all that walking was annoying! And overnight valet is $23, which just seems wasteful. I would definitely stay here again for a staycation.

No working air conditioner.

The hotel was fantastic. The surrounding area is quiet and semi-secluded. Just what we wanted. The room was clean and bright. The bed was very comfortable and there were plenty of pillows. We were pleased the bathroom had complimentary toiletries. Everything seemed great until we turned on the air conditioning. It didn't work. This week was a hot one too. In the 80's F. We called the first night and i was told they wouldn't have a maintenance person until tomorrow morning. When ibasked if we could switch rooms, I was told the only ones available would be a downgrade. So we stayed and slept with the patio open. We were promised a technician would work on it first thing the next day. The next day came, and we told the front desk, the air conditioning technician was welcome to come fix it after we left for breakfast. So when we came back later that day hoping to take a nap in a cooled of room, it was STILL HOT!! I called the front desk again demanding to knkw why our air conditioning unit wasnt fixed. The hotel had no answer as to why. They seemed surprised even. I demanded they have a technician in the room to fix it in the next 30 minutes or they NEED to upgrade us to a suite. Ten minutes later we get a knock on the door and its the technician. He introduces himself and apologizes for the "miscommunication". About ten minutes later, he has the air conditioner up and running. He then packs up his tools and apologizes one more time before leaving. Thats my ony issue I had.

They gave me a accessible room, when i didn't purchase it, im 6 feet tall, everything was low in the room, including the bed. The rooms was dusty, the toleit licked. the restaurant was over crowded with limited staff. It took 30 min for food, 10 min to get mayo, 20 mins for dessert, and another 20 min to receive the check. Im so disappointed in this visit.
