People were cooking on hot plates and it stunk like fish one day and burger the next. It is a fire hazard and it ruined it for guests nearby. I requested first flr for service dog and I was as far from the door (one entry/exit as other near me was ER only... It taxed my physical issues of why I have the service animal. I had to explain that I wasn't signed a "pet agreement" as the Management staff didn't seem to know the difference. Overall I was just barely satisfied I guess for the 3 nights and I was often off at events or I may have been More upset with the stink of food cooking.

Hair dryer was quickly replaced by maintenance. Disliked confusion with reservation. They only had a king but reserved a double.

Staff was great! Very inviting and helpful. Pool area was the primary concern. Cleanliness of the pool deck was disgusting as was the cleanliness of the whirlpool.

We were super excited to stay here for the concert we were attending right down the road. But the man behind the counter was rude, and our room was almost 2 hours late getting in. Check in was stated that it was at 3, but we didn’t get our room til almost 5. They said they would call us when our room was ready and did not. Once we got our room, we realized they mistakenly gave us a room with only one bed. And after the guy at the counter had already snipped at me for asking a simple question, plus I knew everywhere was sold out for the concert, I decided not to say anything. I was there with my BFF and we had better things to worry about. We still went on to have an awesome time, so the hotel served it purpose. But as someone who works in customer service, I would never speak to a customer like that. The rest of the staff seemed friendly enough though.

The entire hotel needs to be renovated. My room and most of the public areas were in disrepair. I was shocked since I had stayed there a few years ago. Dirty stained walls and carpet, bathroom missing trim around shower head and toilet. Terrible food selections for breakfast, coffee tasted like brown colored water. I would have gone to another hotel but I was trapped for two nights. Your ratings are VERY inaccurate; this should be a no star or one star property. I have been to other La Quinta hotels and this was the worse.
