Lobby smelled. Desk employee would not let us check in 30 minutes early even thou the rooms were available. Food all over the check in area, we left before checking in

Staff was very friendly however the property was in bad shape. The door to get inside the hotel stopped working so we had to go in the farther exit and there was trash in the hallways. There was central air in the room but it seemed to only cool down the living room area not the bedroom. Pretty shabby place for the cost they are charging

What a unique place. The gym was nice and stocked. The front desk staff was friendly, smiling and helpful! Better service and attention than most 5 star resort hotels I’ve stayed in. The rooms are studio apartments with full size refrigerator, you can even cook if you wish. The beds are big and comfortable. Seriously wonderful people and a great place to stay!!

Convenient to Wheaton, Naperville, IL.

Room was nice, had kitchen facilities. A few stains on the carpet lowered the score. HVAC fan was noisy, I turned it off.

I expected more.

Pros: The bed was o.k.
Cons: Carpet was crushed and very musty.
Location: Location was good.
I had never stayed at a Candlewood Suites before and probably will not in the future. My room was musty and it smaelled. This is a no frills hotel. No coffee, no breakfast and no ice.

Great Extended Stay Hotel for Families

Pros: Free Internet
We stayed at this hotel for about 3 1/2 months. As long as you understand it is designed as an extended hotel, it works great! We loved the free laundry. Although overpriced the food pantry is nice for a late night snack. The fitness served its purpose and was nice. They did work on the AC so that it wasn't as hot from the laundry facilities were in an adjacent room. Grills are nice feature to add to meal options especially when staying a long time. Although not newest movies the free DVD rental is a nice feature. Any time you want to switch out towels or bedding, the front desk staff is very helpful. Also, you can get soaps, dish detergent, paper towels, toilet paper, etc. whenever you need it...just ask. We actually never had housekeeping clean our room on the weekly basis. We had our own vacuum cleaner but you can borrow the hotels if you want. We also just cleaned our own space. If you don't mind a little effort on your part to maintain the room it is an ideal place for extended stays and works well for a family. The room was very clean and completely redone. We only had a small problem with the garbage disposal and one thing with the AC the entire time and the hotel got it fixed immediately. Front desk staff, management, maintenance man, housekeeping are all very helpful and friendly and keep a very clean, well-maintained hotel. As difficult as it can be to live in a hotel for an extended time, this hotel did a great job and served its purpose well. Would definitely recommend and stay here again!
