It's a "roof over your head"

Not a very appealing place to stay. Everything is outdated, everything is dirty. Upon arrival into the room the window was open and the AC was off. It was about 90° outside. The bathroom was filthy, the toilet needed attention. Even after you flush the toilet the water would keep running. Thankfully I'm a plumber, and I could address the problem. I also found a kind of funny that there were no trash cans in the restrooms. All of your trash needs to be transferred out into the room. We had visited the front desk and placed a wake up call for 6:30 AM the following morning. There was no wake up call the next morning. The lady at the front desk said that she swears she had program the computer to wake us up, but that never happened. Many times throughout the night we were woken up by slamming doors and loud card readers. The smell of smoke from cigarettes was quite noticeable even on the non-smoking floors. If you are a true looking for a place to stay just to have a roof over your head then this is the spot. If not spend the extra 25 to 30 bucks and stay somewhere a little more up with the times.

Oh that Scent

Pros: Location
Cons: Remove the carpet in the room (which was filthy and could have contributed to the bad smell) install windows that open in case of an emergency. Help!!
Location: Good location--easy access to highway; fast-food restaurants close; fairly quiet neighbourhood.
The lobby area was not bad; however, when we entered from the back door (which was stated locked and secured) it was opened. Upon entering the room, a musty scent pushed us out into the hallway because it was so strong. We covered our nose and went to the phone eventually after leaving the door opened. The staff said perhaps because the room was closed and the A.C. was off. She suggested opening the window--which did not budge when we tried. I had to take my air freshener from my car, put it onto the AC vent, keep the door opened while people walk up and down the hallway and looked in. IT WAS AWFUL!!!!!!!!!!!

Never ever ever ever ever ever again.

Room dirty Fridge broken, smell almost made me throw up. 2nd room...dirty. Fridge worked but still smelled. Old spilled milk in bottom. No water, sink, toilet, shower..nothing. DISGUSTING.

Disgusting

Cons: The overall hygiene.
I have stayed in some terrible places, and I rarely complain, but this was by far the most disgusting place I've ever seen, and I want to save anyone from ending up there. When I got to the room, the toilet was clogged with the previous occupant's feces. I asked the front desk staff to please attend to that and I left for the evening. When I returned later that eveing, I went straight to bed. In the morning, in the light of day, I was disgusted to see what the rest of the room looke like. The microwave had food spilled all over it, there were brown and red stains on the bed sheets, one lamp had a lightbulb missing, and the coffee pot did not have a caraffe. I went to the front desk to notify the staff that I was checking out and alert her to these problems. She was engaged in long telephone conversations and did not even take a moment to aknowledge that I was there, so I just put my key on the counter and left. When I got home, I looked on my credit card statement to find they had billed me twice!! I contacted Super 8 corporate office asking to speak to someone about examining photos I had taken of the room on my smartphone and to request a refund of my money. Four weeks have passed, and they have not replied. So I'm attaching those photos below for you. Stay away.

We had requested a non-smoking but got a smoking

We got a smoking room which is not what we had requested. The hallway smell was unbearable. The smoke detector's battery was and was beeping incessantly. We asked for a new battery which was never given to us. After 45 minutes of waiting we finally went down and asked again. The person working at the desk handed us a new battery and told us to replace it ourselves. The room was not clean with stains all over the wood and chairs. An extremely disappointing experience. We will not be staying here again.

Very uncomfortable

If you want to stay in a room where you hear every word said in the rooms around you, this is the right place for you. The next room neighbors were very loudly having --- all night as if it is their first time after being in jail for a century. No need to mention that I couldn't sleep at all. I complained to the front desk, but nothing happened. Breakfast was very basic. Residents looked a little scary although I didn't have any problems with them.

Ok... Ask for a better room...

Pros: Free breakfast, Free Internet
Cons: Nothing close, Poor breakfast, some outdated rooms
I was given a room with a wall unit AC... It was a cold night and the unit was only blowing cold air. Denise (front desk) was very nice to move me to another room.. But it blew air straight onto my head..and it was also blowing cold air. I complained again... Two hours later I was put in another room... A more acceptable one with a modern AC unit. Ask for a room on the upper levels... They have not updated their 1st level rooms. Breakfast was mimimalistic.

Ok for the price.

Pros: Free breakfast
Cons: staff
If you are looking for a low price hotel this would be fine. Free breakfast. Hotel was clean. Staff was not very friendly. There was no restroom in the lobby. Had to wait until we checked in and got to the room. Not real happy about that after being in the car for hours.
