Lovely old building, but needs some TLC.
The Hotel is in the Old Government Building so it is a lovely old building very grand with high ceilings, but that does bring its own challenges, no air conditioning being a case in point.

We loved our stay at the Heritage Christchurch! It exceeded expectations, with the spacious suite and beautiful historic building. Valet parking was super easy right outside, staff were lovely and the location was really handy - just five minutes or so to great dining options. We plan to be back!

Lovely and quaint old hotel with good in room amenities. Great location. Pulling up to check in is a bit tricky by car. Better directions on website by hotel might be helpful.
