Property is fine. They still use Covid as an excuse not to clean rooms. Stayed 6 nights never cleaned. Went to front desk to ask for fresh towels and was met with grief as if it was a burden for them. The housecleaning staff were helpful when I caught them in the halls cleaning vacant rooms. Also, too many times breakfast was running low/empty. I think the construction workers staying there cleaned them out early. Again, a decent place to stay, but lacks customer service.

We have stayed here several times, it’s always clean and quiet and the staff are quite pleasant. We don’t have much of a choice when we stay here because we have relatives in town. We tried the other place down the road but that place is terrible. The price is what kills us though. For the price this place costs, we have stayed in the city downtown Des Moines in a very high end luxury place with many more amenities like a pool, hot tub, fitness rooms, sauna, shuttle service, complimentary food and drinks!! This place could either use more amenities or lower the price. If my relatives lived somewhere else I would never stay here. It is always very clean and doesn’t ever smell of smoke, the employees seem pretty happy and are nice. Breakfast is not bad. Lower the price and we would stay an extra day or two, otherwise we prefer to leave early and stay in a more accommodating place.
