The room smelled musty. There was moisture in the air. The tile floors were slippery. The sheets were moist. The biscuits were very hard at breakfast and crumbled when cutting into them. Not fresh.

Enjoyed my stay!

Pros: Breakfast was good!
Cons: Nothing in particular, just general updates.
Location: There were 2 shopping centers located very closely.
Nice hotel, a little outdated but VERY Clean and cozy. Close proximity to Central Missouri State University and shopping. Staff were great!

Choices are limited

This is a small town, so hotel options are limited. This is an older hotel, but beds were comfortable and the place was clean. Owner was very nice. Breakfast options are limited, but fine for what we needed. We stayed one night, and it was sufficient.

You get what you pay for.

We went for the cheapest option and got it. Excellent location, right off the highway, easy to find. Crowded parking lot in the evening. Recently updated features (carpet, tile, paint) but just a bandaid on an older facility in need of slightly more intensive repairs. Room was very "moist", for lack of better terms. My husband and I have bad mold allergies and we had to run to the local Walmart, also conveniently located not far from the hotel, for allergy meds to make it through the night. While we didn't spend any time in the pool, it was a very well kept area and perfect size and depth for people traveling with kids. Very comfortable bed. Very fast WiFi. The shower was questionable (slimy walls (from a cleaner?) and hair stuck on the walls) and dripped from the faucet all night. And my husband bragged on their breakfast selection - he did not leave hungry..! I have to agree it smelled delicious, but as I'm not a morning eater I didn't personally partake in any. All in all, for what we paid, it was a good stay.
