staff the staff are very helpful and very corporti

Pros: it is out of the city of silver spring yet 15 minutes from downtown
Cons: create a garden like around the hotel
Location: the hotel is out of town but near downtown
I have live in many Marriott properties and this like home

Best place in Silver Spring

Great suite great breakfast great staff. Nothing is perfect but this place is close.

FDA Stay

This facility is the BEST of the four hotels closest to the FDA White Oak campus. The rooms are the largest, there is a nice conference room, and there are restaurants and stores just across the street.

Clean, safe location

Pros: Clean and beautiful! All you would expect from Marriott. Staff was accommodating and friendly.
Cons: They need more roll away beds to offer guests. We asked 3 times for a roll away and were told they were all in use. One slept on the floor. :(
Location: One thing I liked about hotel, it was in a residential neighborhood. There is a shopping area across the street with Starbucks, Target, etc.
Staff was very polite and helpful. Room was very clean and spacious. Love having a full kitchen!

Very nice hotel/ammenities, staff not the brightest, but very nice

The hotel is clearly doing their very best to offer you a terrific experience and they are succeeding in many, many ways but the staff really is quite clueless, but very nice. We wanted to know about the metro and driving times and they really had no clue, so they passed us to their sister hotel property, not only were they even more clueless, they charged us for the call! They have a super BBQ party that they offer, as well, cookies... really nice touches and a terrific hotel. It is a great value but you really do need to have a car and willingness to drive to D.C. if that is what interests you. All in all, if you do not need much/any car/metro help, this is a super hotel & terrific value.

Residence Inn in Silver Spring

My experience at the Residence Inn was just great. The service, staff and setting were outstanding. The people aimed to please and could not do enough for my stay. The rooms were roomy and always clean, as for the meeting areas and grounds. The staff were always pleasant and helpful. I did experience one staff member a little gruff on the morning shift, but it was a isolated incident.The food was good, the menu could be improved a little.The desk crews were always helpful and friendly. I would highly reccomend this INN to anyone who would be staying in the area.
