I like the cozy set up having a kitchen is a big plus they also let me check in a few hours early to accommodate my afternoon plans that was very helpful. The first night was a little rocky the bed frame collapsed in the middle of the night I let them know first thing in the morning and someone was sent out to fix the problem so the rest of the weekend was smooth sailing

This unit was not clean. Hair was on the bed, floors and even stuck to the bathroom walls. It looked like the baseboards have never been cleaned. The two reviews before mine sums up how we also felt about our stay. We didn’t use the kitchen because I was worried about the cleanliness after seeing the bathroom. We didn’t have internet the entire stay. We reached out to the host and she said she would check into it but never got back to us. I would not recommend this property.

Convenient Location in Bryan
This place was great for us because we have a student at A&M who lives in Aggie Station (giant apartment complex). This place is located just next door to Aggie Station on College Main. It's in the AgTech Gardens complex. The bus stop for the A&M off-campus bus line #15 is literally in the front yard of this place. Too bad #15 bus no longer runs on football game days. That would make this location too good to be true because #15 bus drops you off in front of the MSC, across the street from Kyle Field. Even though it's located on a busy street, we weren't bothered by any street noise at night on a weekend stay. Place was very clean and nicely decorated. We didn't have much trouble finding parking for two vehicles. It's about a mile walk to Kyle Field and just a few blocks from Northgate. A few small items that could be attended to that would make the stay even better, but nothing real major: plenty of extra pillows, but not enough cases for them; couch cushion pretty worn down so you can feel the bars below; electrical outlets in the bedroom nearest to street too loose to be able to plug anything into them; no ice or ice trays in freezer, dusty extractor cover in bathroom; no dishwasher detergent. Overall, I would definitely recommend.

The terrible experience began when we didn't have our check-in information. Usually, when an owner messages me for a rental, I get notified from VRBO. I had no messages from VRBO and in fact noticed that the owner never responded to my message sent several weeks before. In the listing, the owner's last name is listed as Smith. We had just finished playing golf and had a dinner to attend for our daughter at 6 pm. It was 4 pm and we needed to get ready. I did a search for messages from VRBO, Bryan Tx rental, and Hayley Smith. Nothing returned. We called through the VRBO app and no answer, we texted also. No response ever. It was a CA number. We called VRBO and they also couldn't reach the owner. The recommended getting a hotel for reimbursement and they would find us something for the next night. We found the only available hotel room in town due to many events that weekend and got to the dinner late. After the dinner when I had a little time, I noticed that at another part of the listing her last name was listed as Young. I searched using that last name and found a text from Hayley Young with check in info sent 2 days prior with no mention of VRBO but instead using her realty company name. We did get checked in finally. The unit smelled poorly and the bathroom was not very clean. As we talked with some of the neighbors on the day of checkout we also realized that every unit in the place was keyed with the same lock and key. Not safe or secure.

The decor was cute and it was convenient to the campus. That was about all of the good I could come up with. The internet had no connection, so we could not watch TV or connect any devices. If you stay here, make sure to bring a hotspot. The unit was also very dirty. The vents were caked with dust, there was hair in the bathroom, baseboards were nasty, lots of dirt and debris in corners and on the floor - not sure if it was mopped before I arrived, when I took off my shoes, my feet got dirty from walking on the floor, the sheets in one room looked like they were not fresh, it is VERY dark in front of the unit at night, street lights were not working, there was no shampoo or conditioner, so make sure you bring some. There were no hangers in the closet, so if you plan on hanging up any clothes, make sure to bring your own hangers. I tried reaching out to the host upon arrival to discuss the internet and she never responded. I would not recommend staying at this property or any other property managed by this host. I will not be staying with this host ever again. I wish I could post pictures so that anyone reading this could see the conditions of the unit!
