The family's stay at the booked property, intended as a gift, proved disappointing due to several shortcomings. Despite the premium cost, essential amenities were lacking, and the property description was misleading. Although advertised as pet-friendly, the surroundings suggested otherwise, leading to daily dog park visits. The house, featuring three beds and baths, had a queen bed instead of a king, inconveniently placed outside the formal dining room. Notably, none of the bedrooms, including the king upstairs with a seating area, fireplaces, and fans, had a TV. The absence of local or national TV posed challenges for New Year's countdowns, events, sports, and weather updates.
Kitchen amenities were insufficient, missing basics like mixing cups, spoons, a pizza cutter, and roller. Despite a Kitchen Aid mixer, essentials for basic cooking were absent. No Keurig, Nespresso machine but there are two pots and a grinder. The property lacked entertainment options, providing only a seated bumper pool table. Though impressive, the baths, fireplaces, and saunas lacked clear usage instructions. The decor, with obstructive chandeliers and interconnected fans, proved challenging. No curtains or privacy present on windows. Overall, the family's experience was marred by missing essentials, misleading descriptions, and a lack of clarity in both amenities and instructions, diminishing the overall enjoyment of the property. The location to the Broadmoor is great but absent of beauty in views
