It took 3 tries to get it right. The 1st room was dirty, they didn’t clean the sinks, tub or toilet. bugs, no power cord for the TV, Queen bed not a King like I reserved. 2nd room A/C did not work. It was after 6pm when we got in our room. The front line employees we very nice and apologetic, unfortunately they have no leadership.

The pro's: The young woman who checked us in was very friendly. The unit was huge and very clean, the beds were extremely comfortable, and the decor was incredible. It was obviously recently renovated with lots of great finishes. The con's: No trash can in the bathroom (pretty gross carrying my trash to the kitchen garbage). Supposed to be a fully stocked kitchen but there were no eating utensils. The towels smelled like fried chicken. These were just minor inconveniences. The biggies -- There were unsavory characters sitting around the property, to the point where I did not feel safe walking from my car after dinner, so I had my military son and his body builder friend escort us. When we were getting ready for bed, I realized there were no blankets on the beds. I looked for the phone to call the front desk. No phone. I called twice on my cell and let it ring about 20 times - no answer, so I cranked up the heat. While checking out, I told the clerk, and the maid said they don't put blankets on in the summer; you have to call the desk and ask. I told him there was no phone I had called and they said the phones were out, and I should have walked over to the office. My mother said she wasn't going to walk over as she's elderly, and he pointed to me and said, "She could have." He ended up being very rude and made excuses for everything, then said that if we felt safe, we shouldn't have stayed. He wouldn't have. Nice.

I didn’t like anything about this property, the night shift lady act like she didn’t know what she was doing, she was no help at all. There was ants and roaches in our room. Bathtub had mole in it, and toilet keep running. This was the worst place I ever stayed in.

What we liked - The concept is fantastic and with follow through could be an amazing transformation. Paige on the afternoon shift tries hard to compensate for the numerous short falls. The property has started to be modernized and the decor was great in our apartment suite. The numerous short comings involve no coffee pot in the suite, no hangers, tv in the loft didn't work, no wifi, there is NO breakfast of any sort offered (except coffee), garbage bags on the below apartment suite had been outside for 24 hours before removed, landscape is lacking as well as the cleanliness of the grounds, broken fencing, dirty suite and step entrances, leafs from the past fall were thick in the gutters to name just a few issues. Upon check out they refused to give me a print out. When I asked for a number to corporate the staff and manager (on the phone refused). I left my number and was assured I would hear immediately from the property manager, 12 hours later I have still heard nothing. It is my personal opinion that they are grossly understaffed to address the property properly.

There was an unexpected deposit when I got to the property. I had an issue w my room and no one was available in the main office nor by phone. My room had bugs and there was standing water in the bathtub. The floor had a film on it like it hadn’t been cleaned in awhile. I would’ve left but my hotel stay was non refundable. Do not stay here.

I was very unpleased with the $100 deposit like I was renting it for a long period of time. After we went to dinner and came back my niece found a roach at the front door that had just came in. There was no coffee or breakfast. Staff was not easily accessible as you had to wait for them to come to the front desk. There was no bell to ring. It was horrible. Will not stay they again and do not recommend it.
