BED BUGS***I found a bed bug and they tried to say I brought it in. Now to put it in perspective I have not traveled since March 13th 2020. They gave me 3,000 points and I still had to pay for the night. I was supposed to stay all week but I packed up my bags and high tailed it out of there. I drove by a couple of days later and they were jammed packed with customers - good luck and don’t let the bed bugs bite!!!!!

This is strange because we have had Orkin inspect each of our rooms and there have been no bed bugs reported and Orkin are the trained professionals that work specifically with these types of things. So I am unsure if you have the correct hotel, we do not refund any money if there are no bed bugs reported to us by the professional Orkin team. We have not had any complaints of bed bugs until now and thank you for bringing it to our attention, although there were none found in any room. We hope that you can find better accommodations because we seem not to be a good fit for you. Safe travels to you and hopefully you can find a hotel that fits you.

your staff was excellent and we liked our visit better than the fasirfield inn/Marriot that we usually stay in, reason being they have an indoor pool, us being geared to more fitness when we travel we will be traveling more this year , but once again you have a top notch staff

Thanks for the nice feedback. While we do not have a pool, our guests are able to use the outdoor Splash pool at our sister hotel next door, Aloft Columbia Harbison. A little chilly in February - but great for March through October.

Nice Hotel

Pros: Free breakfast, Close restaurants, Free Internet, Quiet
Lots of places to eat nearby. Small parking lot but well lit. I would stay there again. Nice breakfast too.

Very impressed

We stayed at this Holiday Inn Express overnight. It was the cleanest most comfortable hotel I've stayed in. I was very impressed with the quality of the room and the price we paid. The beds were comfortable and clean. I would definitly recommend this, or any Holiday Inn Express.

Very Good - and Coulda Been Great

Stayed for events at the university, and one major factor in choosing this hotel was the advertised high-speed Internet connection in every room. Turns out ours wasn't working (and neither was a phone) and the Business Center PC was not a viable alternative, so we wasted a few bucks and could have stayed somewhere else w/o wired Internet for quite a bit less. There was only one elevator working the whole (football game) weekend, so there were occasional delays at prime time. Those are really minor things, not big complaints. The staff, including the front desk folks and especially the really nice woman who runs the weekend breakfast show all by herself, were very friendly, helpful, and seemed quite competent. The usual complementary breakfast was actually quite good (or even great when you consider the price & convenience), and everything throughout the entire hotel sure appeared to be very clean. Other than that - really a very good location, right across from the mall and maybe a 12-15 minute highway drive to the university. The building and everything inside seemed to be almost new - the hotel seemed to be built or renovated fairly recently or has been kept in very good condition. The only other thing that was less-than-perfect was the darned loud air conditioner - but it was in the 90s w/ 90% humidity so maybe that explains the loudness. Would gladly recommend and stay there again.

Great hotel just messed up reservations

I reserved the hotel using the travel website, but somehow got the dates messed up although I stayed in another hotel earlier in the same week. So, I don't understand how the dates got messed up. ANyway, the hotel was in the perfect location-not far from Assembly and near Greystone blvd and the Zoo. The beds were comfortable and the room was nice and clean. Breakfast was pretty good too. The pool was perfect for getting out energy, just a little on the hot side. The biggest perk was having 2 flat screens-the kids watched one and we watched the other. So nice.
