Hotel in Starkville

I checked in to find the hotel had overbooked and instead of a double queen room, I had to take a king with a pullout couch. The shower was not clean. The housekeeping staff did not leave fresh bath cloths. I requested one from the front desk but never received it. Housekeeping did not replenish the paper cups or regular coffee in the room. The hotel staff during check-in were patronizing in how they dealt with the overbooking, telling me how comfortable the pullout couch would be. They would only give us breakfast one morning as compensation. Upon checkout, I talked with the front desk manager about my stay and was given one night free. Though they tried to make up for their errors, I will not stay here again.

Easy access to the town.

The front desk staff was excellent, the housekeeping staff were good and the restaurant were marginal as was the food. The hotel appeared well maintained and clean overall.

Nice hotel away from middle of town. Easy access from highway.

Pros: Quiet
Cons: the breakfast was great but not free.
We only stayed one night, but everyone was very nice and helpful. My 1 year old lost his stuffed animal, and the staff found it and held it until we could have it picked up. This was very much appreciated.

Nice Hotel..overpriced for gameday

The hotel was nice and had friendly staff. We were there on a gameday.We were late getting checked in because the football team had not checked out. It was 5:00 before we were able to check in. They offered a shuttle bus to the stadium. The hotel did seem a bit overpriced. The hotel has a bar area and resturant. The breakfast was good but not free. Located outside of town.
