I arrived at the property at 3:10 or so, there was no one at the front desk. I rang the bell, called the number and nothing. Other guests had arrived so there was a group of 4 different families waiting. The front desk clerk finally showed up an hour and a half later. She had an attitude and said she was outside throwing thrash. She was unapologetic and uncaring. After I got my room I got the kids ready to go to the pool only to see a sign on the pool that said "closed temporarily" so I go back to the front desk, now she is eating and I ask her about the pool, she says it's going to be closed till May. Its Spring break and the only reason we rented a room was for a staycation to get away and go swimming in a pool. I saw another guest with kids ready to go swimming and I asked her if she had been to the pool she replied no, I told her it was closed and she got upset because she said she had called prior to making a reservation and specifically asked about the pool and was told that the pool was open. To make matters worse, I found a dirty sock under one of the beds and the sofa bed sheet was dirty, under it was a dirty , debris and a beer top as well. I am deeply dissapointed and have never in my life had such bad experience in a hotel. I just wanted to spend time with my grandbabies swimming then order pizza while watching movies.
