Nice place to stay

Pros: The convenience. Near my training location
Cons: N/A
Location: It was nice to take the shuttle to South Coast Plaza. I was able to do my Christmas shopping
Staff was very accommodating. The front desk employee was able to find my reservation right away, the valet parking attendant was very helpful as well as the Shuttle driver who brought me and other guests to South Coast Plaza. The food at the hotel restaurant was very good and the service was excellent. I will surely stay at this hotel again on my next company training in Costa Mesa and would recommend this hotel to other people as well.

Convenient, clean but poor restaurant staff!

Pros: Nice front desk fast and efficient.
Cons: Have people manning the restaurant during lunch hours!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I liked the rooms, the cleanliness and the convenience of it all. The restaurant was severely understaffed during lunch time both days I was there. I waited 30 minutes one day and chased the waiter around the place to get my order in. The second day our party of 7 sat for 1 whole hour before SOME of the food arrived. The funniest part was the check came out quickly as soon as again, SOME of the food came out!!!!!!!!! Terrible!!! 3 of my friends got their food 2 hours after that first hour. Another friend of mine who was there earlier not only waited longer than we did and NEVER got her lunch, but actually had to go find her own utensils and napkins because there was nobody managing or manning the place!!!!! Unbelievable!!!! I'm still shocked... I don't usually write reviews because I feel businesses should get a chance but this I had to get it out of my system because it was absurd and I want this corrected immediately!! This was truly my one and only complaint everything else was fine. I would like the parking to be included in the price because it makes not sense to pay that much for 2 days of parking.

I liked the staff and the property alot

Pros: Close restaurants, Free Internet
I always dislike the surprises like charging for parking which adds $20 per day to your stay. Something bad left in the sink but the staff provided us with a different room in a matter of minutes. The front desk staff and housekeeping were terrific.

Bu bu bu

Pros: Close restaurants, Free Internet
Cons: no free parking
ENGLISH: It is a great hotel but they will charge you 21.00 dolars for 24 hours parking. That is not included in the Hotel or room price. We were surprised because in all the other hotels we have stayed we never paid for parking. I wish breakfast was Included.

Hotel needs an upgrade

Our first room reaked heavily of either air freshener or perfume so we were moved to another room. The room was clean but the furnishings appeared worn and out-dated. The hotel was humid and a bit warm. On a positive note: The brick oven pizzas offered in the lobby restaurant were delicious! I would not stay at this hotel again.

Dear Pickyhoteler, The weather has been unusually humid so a day at the beach is a perfect solution for the up coming big weekend. Huntington Beach offers fire pits for the public to enjoy throughout the day; they are on a first come basis. Balboa Island offers a great Fun Zone and the best candy store in town. have a great and safe weekend everyone, Yolanda H. Guest Service Manager

Staff friendly, but less than adequate.

Cons: no laundry room
We have small children, so at time of reservation we were promised rooms conjoined or close- at time of check in- again told no problem. When we got up to our room- they were across the hall. Also, when we requested a fridge we were told it would be right up- we waited an hour- called again- told it would be right up, we finally got the fridge 4 hours later. One last disappointment- NO laundry room- had to go find a laundrymat a few miles away and wait- with all our children for the laundry to be done.
