The hotel service staff was very pleasant and went out of their way to make sure our vacation went well. However, the service desk staff was very rude and not accommodating. We booked an excursion through the hotel, along with a friend of ours that live on the island, and after our return we were in the lobby awaiting her ride and had gotten a cup of coffee(from the lobby) when my wife, son, and friend was approached by a security guard telling them she could not have the coffee to throw it away. My friend and my entire family were totally embarrassed and insulted over a $.69 cent cup of coffee. Earlier that day(9/25/19) I purchased a vacation getaway from the Moon Palace fully expecting to return to your hotels as we were impressed with the amenities and friendliness of the each of the hotels only to return to the Cozumel Palace to be humiliated by the service desk and guard. I was angry and my family was insulted and saddened that they would treat our friend this way . I can say with confidence that I wasted $300.00 as I will not return to your hotels. George R Wesley
