This 600 square foot home features a large two level deck,outdoor patio furniture and a gas grill. There are two bedrooms, one with a queen size bed and one with a full size bed. It is one bathroom with a living room and dining area. Two air mattresses are available for additional sleeping in the living room/dining area. 1-6 guest can be accommodated. A uncovered docking area is available just a few steps away for 1 boat. Sorry, no pets allowed.

Only 20 minutes from Marion, IL 40 minutes from Carbondale, IL, 1 hour from Paducah, KY & 1 hour from Cape Girardeau, MO. Zero minutes to the lake.

My apologies, however, the appropriate Illinois & County Taxes are not being collected properly by VRBO. Until this is resolved, you will receive an additional payment request after booking for approximately 8.64% of the rent and cleaning fee. Currently, only 2% is being collected and it should be 5.64% for the state of IL and an additional 5% for Williamson County, IL. For example, a two-night booking is to pay $45.22 in taxes, plus whatever fees are imposed by VRBO.

The pictures were deceiving. The porch railings and stair treads are rotten to the point of falling through when used. There were no lights on the stairs or lower level of the deck making it dangerous to use them at night. I missed a step and injured my foot. The deck and the proximity to the water were the reasons we chose this location. All in all we were very disappointed.

Just lovely especially the backyard space
We had a wonderful time staying here. Love the space at the back and the view was spectacular. The only thing that would have made this place better is if they modernised the cabin interior - better bedsheets, towels and furnitures.
