Hotel Construction Renovation

Pros: It's not too far from the Dallas Love Airport
Cons: Stay after the construction is finished.
Location: Gilley's is about 15 minutes away by car.
Close to the Dallas Love Airport (12 minutes) if your driver knows the way. The front desk let me check in early. The room smelled mildly like sewage. The hotel is under renovation construction, through the rest of the year. I didn't know in advance. The Jack hammers, power saws, and drills were loud during the day, so I wasn't able to get in my power nap before my conference. There was a construction emergency and all the water pipes had to be drained and water was shut off for about 45 minutes (at exactly the time I needed to shower before heading out to my business event) I had to skip my shower, and put on some extra deodorant and cologne, and go without a shave (not at all professional personal presentation for my colleagues and business executives) There was no compensation through the front desk, or a manager. I was told that the construction notice was posted on their website, so it was my fault for booking this hotel.
