The garden, patio and rooms were great. We had reservations at restaurant 506 for Brunch. We were seated and no one waited on us for 15 minutes. When the waitress found out she had another table she rolled her eyes and did not make the kind of effort we were looking for in this quality of restaurant. We sat another 5 minutes with he only pooring water and walking off not taking our drink order. It wasn't meant to be so we got up and left. Lack of communication and ownership of the problem was what bothered us.

We stayed in the Villa Monaco, which is the two-bedroom, two-bath Villa on the back of the property. Here's a quick breakdown of the Pros & Cons: PROS: 1. The staff was very nice and helpful during our stay. 2. Our Villa was very nice, and the beds were very comfortable. 3. There was a Pod coffeemaker in the room, and a small fridge with bottles of water and cream for the coffee. 4. We enjoyed some great drinks and appetizers in the Van Gogh Bar before attending the Eagles concert that evening at AT&T Stadium. 5. Breakfast the next morning was very tasty. 6. The grounds of the property are nicely landscaped and well maintained. CONS: 1. We had an issue with poor drainage in the Master shower, but after notifying the front desk, they immediately fixed the problem. 2. It appears that the WI-FI doesn't reach the back Villas, as we were never able to connect while in our room (although we could pick up the WI-FI in the main building). Overall, the PROS far outweighed the CONS, and we would definitely stay at Sanford House, again. We really enjoyed our time there, and actually wished we could have stayed a few more days.

Nice place to relax

Pros: The spa was awesome. Great people and great service. We will be back.
Cons: We didn't get to enjoy the courtyard because the mosquitoes were bad. You may want to invest in a couple of Dynatraps.
Location: We did not leave the hotel during our stay.
Enjoyable place to get-a-way to relax and unwind. Rooms are beautiful, clean, large, and confortable. Great place for a couple to go just to rest and relax. The spa was terrific.
