Hi While the check-in process was quick and smooth; the check-in person acted like it was a transaction and we were bothering her or going through the motions. No pleasantries, Hi or even a smile. As we went out to dinner passing the desk she was having a conversation with another employee and she was reiterated that they forgot to sign in at the beginning of the shift and would need to be fixed now and was clearly not happy about it. We travel all the time and rarely see this behavior at the front desk. The process was smooth, but someone needs a happy welcome to your stay attitude chat. Thank you

Pool and spa was closed for maintenance . My grand daughter and I were really looking forward to using the hot tub.

Roomy, great night's rest and tasty breakfast

Cons: This was the only Hampton Inn where the coffee was on the weak side--consistency is key. Make sure you have a coffee drinker making the coffee!
My daughter and I drove across the country from Michigan to L.A., and we stayed in Hampton Inns every night. Davenport's H. I was very clean, bright and friendly. We love the roomy space, the fluffy pillows and very comfy beds. We love the waffle machine, and Davenport did not disappoint. We would certainly recommend to friennds.
