Room was ok but there was no advertised breakfast and pool was closed the whole time. Also, trucks empty dumpsters behind the hotel at around 4 am in the morning. Rooms are not serviced daily.

The property was ok. It has some improvements to do with the cleanliness of the hotel. The elevator didn't look like it had been cleaned in days or even weeks. The room was good though.

Nice hotel. Note at check-in desk. Had to wait for someone. Breakfast Saturday morning - cut up melon (1 kind), scrambled eggs, Canadian bacon, Cold cereal, waffles. No oatmeal. Second hot container was empty. Bagels, toast, a few pastries. No spoons or forks or tongs in food - had to ask. Checking out - manager was eating breakfast with back to desk. Not sure I'll return.

Travelocity cancelled my room without telling me

Pros: liked proximity to Wright State though didn't get to stay here
Cons: funny I'm getting surveys about a room you cancelled on me - would think it would be in the system that it was cancelled (by you)
Location: Wright State, Nutter Center, Glen Helen, Clifton Gorge, John Bryan Nature Preserve, town of Yellow Springs, biking, hiking
I had received a phone call from you guys a couple weeks ago saying I may need to be re-located to another hotel. There was no mention of anything having been cancelled (and apparently at this point it had not yet been cancelled). I returned the phone call and was told everything was fine with my reservation. They even put me on hold and (supposedly) called the hotel to confirm the room/reservation. I was assured the reservation was confirmed and you sent me an additional confirmation e-mail. Upon arriving, I was told the room had been cancelled on July 13th by Travelocity (this was after I had called and confirmed with you guys) yet I never received any additional phone calls or notices saying this room had been cancelled. No one would help me find another room and everything within the area was sold out! The reason I had made the reservation at that particular hotel was due to the fact it was within walking distance of where I needed to go. I ended up at a hotel 30 min. away causing me to lose ½ my day, miss meetings and cost me a small fortune ‘ubering’ back and forth. On top of it, the room I was moved to was disgusting…dirty, reeked of smoke and was not cheap. I’ve used Travelocity for years now and never had a problem but this really messed up my entire trip. I’m extremely disappointed Travelocity did not honor the confirmation/reservation or at the very least make me aware the room was cancelled before I arrived.
