I was under the impression I booked a ocean view room when I booked, upon my arrival we were given a city view room with no balcony no desk chair and no microwave, we booked a four day stay for my wife birthday and perhaps got one of the worst rooms in the hotel, next to the elevator, we lay and listen to the elevator go up and down. We made the best of it as I tried not to ruin her birthday weekend. Want stay their again they wanted to charge me over 300.00 more to get an ocean view. Nathaniel Jones

Thanks for your feedback Nathaniel. When you book through a third party we give the room that was booked which happened to be our most inexpensive room. The time period you booked was during Labor Day and room rates were higher during that time.

I understand that a large portion of the room rate is because it is on the beach yet property seemed a bit outdated and the shower was sad. I enjoy a shower experience that refreshes me with good hot water and a good showerhead not the lukewarm somewhat lackluster water pressure

We enjoyed our stay here. Staff was friendly and helpful, ocean front access on a quieter area of the beach. Parking was right out front, no garages to deal with. If your dissatisfied just let them know and they will do their best to correct it. Breakfast is mainly snacks, and sugary treats. Nothing hot. One pool and one hot tub. We didn’t use these but they are there. The hotel has a nice tiki bar but it was not running due to lack of bartender. Some of the room doors slam hard metal on metal. The neighbors should no better not to slam the doors, but the hotel could probably have something adjusted on them to reduce the noise. If I come back to Daytona I would stay here again
