Our check in didn't go so good even though we had a great room with an ocean view and a balcony on the 6th floor and the room was clean and we all 3 got a good nights sleep. When we checked in, the desk clerk told us that the Garden atrium was closed for renovation and the pool in the South building we where staying in was closed for remodeling. The only poor open was at the North building. The Tiki Bar was closed and looked like it was in need of repair. Even though the price was reduced, it should have been reduced more since we weren't going to be able to use all the Amenities we paid for. My wife and I have stayed here a lot in the past and our stays where great, but this one was very disappointing and embarrassing since we had bragged about how great a place this was to our friend that was staying with us. Our friend had asked me to do the booking but now I don't know if he will trust me with doing the booking or not. He said he wouldn't be back. When I booked with Hotels.com there was nothing saying the current condition of the hotel and when I called the hotel to confirm our reservation the hotel clerk didn't say anything. For what we got the price should had been less than 60 dollars since all we got was a room. My wife and I may stay again or we may not, I'm just not sure right now.
