This property was clean, simple and no frills place to stay. Would stay here again and would recommend to others. Unfortunately it was raining heavily when we were here but if it had been dry, the grounds looked very nice.

You get what you pay for. The blanket was dirty the comforter had stains. There was no Kleenex in the room. No tv. Marginal to non-existant wifi. I understand having a cancellation policy. However, the area was in a flood warning and this property is on a river bank and had water rising. We checked out a day early for safety concerns but they would not refund the last day based on their policy.

Room was very small, but clean, and comfortable. The grounds of the hotel were very pretty, with a lawn and trees, and the river right behind. The two ladies running it were very nice and totally helpful. The street and parking were just typical of Talkeetna, muddy street with pot holes. Mosquitoes inhibit enjoying the grounds. Most of this is just how the town is, not the hotel’s fault. It’s a short walk to anywhere in Talkeetna.

Fast check in. Room was dated and walls thin, can hear neighbors around you. Rooms were clean, beds comfortable, water presure in shower was amazing.

Very nice and quiet. Beautiful view of the area. In the morning we had a beautiful view of Mt Denali and surrounding area.
