Fall Get Away
Location:The area was quite lovely with many places to explore. I would definitely recommend Buckie's Biscotti !! Outstanding !!
The view from the room was exceptional, staff polite and responsive to all of our requests and needs !!
Overall in need of a serious landscaping overhaul. From the parking lot the building looked quite shabby and in need of a good paint job, the shrubbery needed ripped out and replaced with more low growing shrubs.
Breakfast was very good on Saturday and Sunday mornings with eggs, sausage and pastries. Monday was an entirely different scenario with cold cereal and bagels being the star attractions. Would recommend.

Right on beach
Was a little disappointed that there wasn't air conditioning because it was so hot but the wind from the ocean was strong enough to keep us comfortable. Wish the hotel were a little updated, but overall very pleased.

good experience
I had a great time and I wasn't disappointed at all!! The room was clean. . Not only was the location great, but also the view was spectacular. Breakfast was also ok.
It's true there is no AC, but I stayed in the beginning of Sept so there was a nice, cool breeze.
Overall- great experience!! I would definitely recommend staying there!

PELHAM HOUSE OLD RESORT
We stayed Aug 30 to Sep 2, 2010. What did draw us was the right on the beach location and all amenities, as described. What we've got was narrow not cleaned beach, overwhelmed by a cross between a spider and a worm seaweeds and in many places stony bottom; no lifeguard. Don't think all that qualifies as kid friendly since there's nothing for kids but the beach and the pool. The room was good size and it did include TV, microwave oven and a fridge (the door of the freezer section was broken); the lavatory area - extremely narrow. The bed cover and the drapery were dusty. We found someones forgotten underwear. For *$ you get sloppy paintjob, peeling paint and caulking, rusty metal, rotten wood, breaking concrete and semi-dead plants. The location is not walking distance to anything - a designated driver is needed at all times. The continental breakfast includes a choice of bread or English muffin, real or fake butter, Danish pastry or cake, cereal, milk or orange juice and something like coffee. Full breakfast included also very salty sausages, eggs and fries. I wouldn't mind all these inconveniences if it was *-*$ room, but NOT for *$, *$ off season.

True Cape Cod Experience
My family stayed at the Pelham at the end of last summer and was thrilled with the hotel. It is truly a Cape Cod beachfront resort, complete with free breakfast daily, this alone saved us over $* per day. We played tennis, swam in the pool and enjoyed being right on the beach. The rooms are nicely outfitted with minibar, bar sink and flat panel TV. The views from our room was incredible, right down the beach.
They don't offer any other meals than breakfast, the staff is very friendly and overall we really enjoyed this property. It is easy to get to yet it's off on it's own and very private but still close to some great dining spots and mini golf for the kids.
