I ended up with a terrible situation. I booked through Travelocity a room at a Marriott near the Denver International Airport. Turned out, Travelocity booked me at the Marriott Stapleton. I had no choice but to get a room at the Marriott near the airport. I ended up paying for two rooms at two different Marriotts. I want a refund from the Marriott Stapleton since it wasn't the Marriott near the airport and I didn't stay there. Please advise! Thank you.

Bad neighborhood, hotel needs updating.

Pros: Bistro and its staff.
Cons: Not great location, didn’t feel safe. Rooms not updated. Phone didn’t work.
Bistro was good with great staff but the rest of our experience was subpar. Expected much better for the price.

Started Out Nice!!

Pros: Modern
Cons: Follow through on phone calls to Front Desk. Be honest with guests if this moth migration is a yearly issue.
I recently stayed for 5 nights and it started out good. Hotel was clean and the staff was attentive. My fourth night there and I came back to the room to a full-scale giant moth invasion, there were 15 to 20 huge moths in my room and a lot more in hallways. They sent someone right down to take care of the problem. In the ten minutes, he was there his radio went off twice with the same problem in other rooms. According to the front desk, they get a moth migration every year. The next morning same thing, I called the front desk and was told I would get a return phone call - never did. I took care of the issue myself. It was a major issue for last two days. I checked out and left this nightmare behind me until I just checked my visa statement. I was billed an additional $800 for the room that I had already paid for through Travelocity. Two more phone calls later and I spoke with the Operations Manager, Kyle Thomas and he was apologetic and corrected the issue. Not what I expected from a Courtyard.

Kind of hidden

The room has furniture that is too large for it. It makes the single king room feel cramped. Less is more I would say. The restaurant is order only so no breakfast included in the morning should you feel the need. I don't think I can recommend it.

Nice stay, little too expensive

Pros: Free Internet, Quiet, clean, friendly staff
Cons: no internet in the rooms, hard to get aorund without a car, expensive breakfast
I stayed a couple nights in Stapelton, it was good. The Pool was clean and the rooms as well. But the breakfast was a kind of overprized. We got a way better room the nights after that for the same prize in Denver Downtown. The Stapelton Shopping Mall is within walking distance, however you have to take a cap over there, because there is no way to cross the Interstate. The staff was really nice and helpful, rooms clean and the bed comfy. I loved the little bath and body works lotion and shampoo. I would go there again, if I would have a car, otherwise its hard to get aorund. Free Internet was provided onny in the lobby.

Average place

Pros: Free Internet
Cons: Noisy, hard to get to
The Hotel was hard to get to, even after calling the Hotel from a block or so away. It's right by the free way which you have to take to get pretty much anywhere. To get on and off the freeway,(to reach the Hotel), is a bit problematic as well. The Hotel is all right but I would not book it again.

The best value, stay, treament...ETC, I've ever experienced!

I booked the room thinking I was paying as much as I would at any other hotel in the area....wrong! I got two nights for the price of one! When I arrived, till the time I left, the staff was wonderful. This is a quality hotel with a beautiful view from the pool onto the courtyard. The room was clean and the view from the balcony was very nice.\n\nBreakfast for three days was included...yet another surprise. There were some issues with noisy guests, but the staff didn't hesitate to call the police and have them removed from the property.\n\nI just can't say enough about my stay. Thank you to all the staff and I will stay again the next time I am in Colorado!

Is this for real?

Our rooms were cramped, the cursing staff was unproffessional ... from the ""free"" continental breakfast that was not FREE to the fire alarms going off all night long with the front desk telling us to stay in our room...they don't think (but aren't sure) this is a real fire multiple times this has been the nightmare trip to Denver! With each moment at the hotel we were more and more upset and wishing we'd booked down the street!
