Location and room style were unbeatable! Pet friendly! Spencer at the front desk was incredibly helpful! Didn't like that i had to clean our room upon check in. There was crayon and food covering many surfaces and a bag of opened chips on the windowsill that wasn't ours. Very noisy neighborhood in the early AM. Pool heater was broken 3 out of our 4 nights there. One elevator was down 3 out of 4 nights there and 1 remaining was slow. Breakfast went until 9am but if not down by 8am you were lucky to get even a granola bar and old fruit. Bartender seemed annoyed to be working so we went across the street for happy hour after the 2nd night there with bad bar service. I really wanted to love this place and certainly would rate it higher if above issues were remedied.

Everything was great during our stay here. We had a total of 4 different rooms. Pet friendly. Nice seating areas (and sanitized often). Guest printing services was a bonus for us.

This is still the best place to stay in Lakewood. There are many restaurants nearby, yet the hotel is quiet. Over the past three years the hotel has begun to show some wear. My room and bathroom could have used a deep cleaning. It was acceptable, but not as clean as I had remembered from previous stays.
