"This was our first trip to Clearwater & our first Hyatt Regency experience. The Hyatt resort was beautiful. It was clean, very well appointed, and the staff was phenomenal. Its restaurant, Shor, was absolutely delicious -- we enjoyed dinner there one night and their breakfast buffet a couple of mornings. Clearwater Beach was just gorgeous -- sugar sand and warm tourqoise water. Hyatt's location was perfect -- easily walkable to several restaurants, bars, music venues, grocery stores, and Clearwater's famous Pier 60. Saving the best for last: the sunsets in Clearwater cannot be beat. Some of the most beautiful I've ever seen. "

"The place was a bit off from the lively downtown area which I’m fine with that. There are a few strips clubs nearby. There are many places within walking distance we went for snacks (7-eleven and dinner at Olive Garden). We were exhausted from our trip with the west coast but the beds were super comfortable. The breakfast the next day was a normal continental breakfast but was enough."
