From my very first contact with the Town House I was impressed by the friendliness of the staff. Nothing was too much trouble. The room itself was beautifully furnished -if a little dark and I would have welcomed a reading light as the 'interior design lamps' gave little light Would certainly go again the next time I visit Durham

Very central, lovely room with patio door onto a small terrace and nice views. The only negative was the overwhelming scent of air- freshener. We only stayed one night and didn’t have breakfast (not included) so can’t comment on food or service. Would have been good to have a coffee maker as indicated in the information.
