Wonderful Hotel in Nice Residential Area

The Holiday Inn Edinburgh City West is wonderful. The building is modern and pleasant. The location is across the street from a supermarket. A city bus goes to downtown Edinburgh in about twelve minutes. The bus stops are a two minute walk from the hotel. The hallways, room, and lobby are very pleasant. The dining room for breakfast is very nice and the cuisine was great. The view from our room of the city was superb. The staff were super helpful. I would definitely stay here any time that I am visiting Edinburgh.

Great hotel and staff - had a fantastic stay!

I loved my stay at this hotel! It was only a 15-20 minute bus ride into the central town area of Edinburgh. The bus stop was practically right outside the hotel! The staff was excellent - friendly and knowledgable and great at helping me with tour information. I would definitely stay here, should I visit Edinburgh again!

The hotel was very nice and the location was directly on a bus line and easily accessible to all the attractions of Edinburgh.

Pros: Free Internet, Quiet
I found this hotel to be surprisingly spaceous. I was expecting much smaller rooms and bathrooms. The breakfast was reasonably priced and of high quality. The hotel was right on a main bus line which made getting back to the castle and other attractions to be quite easy. I would highly recommend this hotel for visiting Edinburgh. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I have no negative comments on the Holiday Inn at Edinburgh.
