The tub was full full of chips and cracks. Didn't want to have a bath which sucks because I love the deep tubs for baths. Floors were damp and spotty when we came in so the room was musty wet smelling. We had to open the window for a whole day to air it out. There was blood on the bedding and hair in the bed. when you walk into the hotel it's like ohhh nice hotel we got a good deal...then get to the room and your like oh nevermind.... Thankfully we got it decently cheap.

The room was dirty, dingy, smelled of heavy smoke and the bathtub would not drain (stood in 2” of water during shower). The walls were dirty, the doors were all chipped and banged up and the floors were obviously not vacuumed from the last guest. Reviews said it was excellent and clean but our room was not. Maybe because we booked through Expedia and it was a great deal…but the room we got was not what was expected based on the reviews.

It was a nice and quiet place to rest and eat, eating is not all day. It has times when its open, and serves. That ki d of a downer, but othrrwise the food is really good when you eat.

We chose a suite at the hotel, and it was one of the most spacious suites we had stayed in. We liked the fact that the hotel was pet friendly, but our room had not been properly vacuumed, and there was a lot of long, pale dog hair on the carpet. There was plenty of parking, and the hotel is located close to major shopping areas, as well as restaurants. It was a little complicated to get across multiple lanes of traffic, though, but that's not on the hotel. The inside was quite well done, with a spacious interior, an art gallery, and two beautiful dream catchers, as well as other Indigenous displays, like an ornate headdress. The separate bedroom was spacious, but had some heating challenges. A space heater had been provided in that room, and when the temperature was turned up, the main area would heat up much faster and hotter than the bedroom. This was not terrible for our visit, but if it were colder outside, this may cause problems. I would guess the heat loss is due to the number of windows in the bedroom area. The heat source was also extremely loud, and seemed loudest in the bathroom. The bathroom was of average size, but I appreciated the deep bathtub, especially as many hotels seem to be moving to showers only. Conditioning shampoo, soap and lotion were supplied, as well as a vanity and sewing kit. We had to ask for more soap, though, as only one bar was provided. Towels were of above average quality, but only one face cloth was originally provided.
