The room with self was clean and had a great view of the Red Sea. That is not to say that the room was great. This is a beach hotel and it had a very nice balcony, but it had a wicker chair with a hole in it big enough to fall through. The two other chairs that were outside were ready and threadbare.
here are some additional concerns about the room: the drapes were torn, the toilet tissue holder was broken, the shower door did not close making a flat on the floor, the person who cleans left someone else’s clothes in the dresser drawer, there was no hairdryer, Kleenex bathrobe or a safe and the room did not even have a “do not disturb sign.”
When we arrived there was a note from the owner saying that because there was going to be a party that night in the bar immediately below, we were being given a free dinner for both of us. The problem with that was that when the party began the noise was so loud that you wouldn’t want to have dinner at the restaurant. Further, there were several hundred teenagers there who completely took up every inch of space in the restaurant. The next day we were having a conversation at breakfast with a waiter And he said there was a party there again at 11 o’clock in the morning. I should note that the party the night before was from 8 PM until 11 PM and the music was so loud it was like we were inside a boom box. We had to leave and could not return to the room until after 11 PM. The party the next day at 11-2. Do not stay here.
