Pros: Free Internet
i was reticent about booking here, since some of the reviews were less than favorable. It was the cheapest room in the area, and we were only staying for one night. We were pleasantly surprised. The outside still looks a little like the Bates Motel, but the room itself was better than fine. It must have recently been redone. There was a new wide screen flat TV. A new king size bed, and a redone bathroom, with a very nice bath/shower. It is still a 'cheap' motel, but it was definitely worth the money (or more).

Stayed here once, never again

My fiance and I thought that it would be a decent price and a place to relax. The place smelled, we had no choice but to stay and the bathroom was disgusting.

Less expensive than the others

I stayed for 8 nights in June 2007. It's one of the oldest motels in the Elmira/Horseheads/Corning area. Yes, it is old and not fancy, but it was comfortable and the rooms are quite large. I could park right outside my door and not have to worry about long halls or elevators or walking across large parking lots or through the lobby. Nothing modern here but the bed was comfortable. Older furniture older plumbing, old A/C, but I wasn't looking for an upscale hotel, just a place to sleep. It was fine. Maybe too expensive for the quality, should be cheaper and probably is if you stay for a week. I'm not complaining. I'm came from Texas for a reunion and found out the owners were from my Texas home, while they were now in my old hometown area. If you are looking for upscale, don't stay here, but if you are justing needing a room without new and modern, it's just fine.

Stay away from this place

Unfortunately this establishment looked nothing like the photos posted. There was not even a clock in the room to set, the air conditioning unit was barely working; either extreme cold or heat, and if it wasn't in such a small-town area with not many accomodations to choose from I would have been out of there in a flash.

Good Place for few bucks

Excellent Place, Good People... I was on a business vist to Corning Glass company.. My friend in Wisconcin suggested me this hotel to stay in. Even though it 10 Miles from corning I liked to stay here. Rooms are good, Beds are comfortable. Heating was good. apart from all these the people are very good. Excellent place to stay. I just paid very less than the other hotels in area with much comfort i got. when ever i go to that area i would stay in Relax Inn.

Couldn't Relax Inn

The Relax Inn is a cheap place to stay but it is still overpriced. No security lock, air conditioner that blows directly on the bed, bathroom door broken, shower faucet corroded through, smelled of old smoke and strong disinfectant. We tried to sleep but stayed on top of the bedspread in our clothes for fear of bugs or worse. For myself I should have slept in my car!
