A very poorly designed and ill-conceived hotel that is recommended for the local medical clients at Slocum and Two Rivers Surgical. The hotel is advertised as health and wellness sensitive and convenient for medical patients, which neither is true. We stayed two nights in April 21 for local spine surgery, and found the facility totally lacking too many things to list. Second floor lobby is a mistake, no seating near main entrance or second floor lobby, NO restaurant or food room service causing great inconvenience. No grab bars in the bathroom anywhere! Room sparsely furnished with one desk chair not suitable for unstable persons, no other seating. Drink supplies for one person, nothing in the fridge/bar. Absolute lack of any traditional ambiance and feeling of comfort and welcoming. Any one of the other local hotels would have been better.
