On the plus side, warm friendly atmosphere, nice happy staff in a beautiful pub ,a great pleasure being there for 2 nights. The minus is room 27 above the gents with a noisy air hand dryer going off every few minutes in the evening.

Have stayed several times over about 6 years - always good food and beer and friendly efficient staff - lovely location - a proper traditional English pub - I recognised local customers from previous stays so they keep coming back as well. I would highly recommend.

Everything about our stay was first class. All the staff without exception were very welcoming and friendly and could not do enough for us to make our stay enjoyable. The food was also a very high standard. Would highly recommend.
