“Heart of the city…”
We did not hear from our house, customer service manager until day of…. Anna was very curt / punctual regarding meeting time. She conveyed how incredibly busy she was , and how she would not answer texts (no language barrier there)..”just call directly”She had a very helpful assistant, who walked us through the apartment, rental process itself…We had an accidental lockout/totally our fault. Anna happened to be on site, and was very punctual and helped us immediately 🌸….We had a few problems with the Italian mosquitoes & open windows (Early May)…🌸. Great part of town, wonderful for adventure.

Is okey, quite balance
Must admit that is quite complete, it has everything basic you would need. The apartment is quite smelly almost every day I had to open the windows to air it, one particular aspect that really bothered me was having to switch off the electricity of the apartment with the main key, that on and off constantly almost damaged some of my electronics, it reflects misery or ghetto mindset, to be honest, I could expect it from a third world country... but Italy? I would not expect that from a city like Florence. To wrap up be ready for mosquitoes or zanzarre will not let you sleep well. In all other aspects, the unit is a great choice.

The flat was clean, nicely decorated and in a good location. The agent started us off by being rude and unprofessional: (1) waited until 1:30 on day of arrival to return our calls/messages to inquire about check-in , (2) gave us "maximum 10 minutes" to meet her from where we had been sitting with our bags waiting for her contact, (3) called and literally yelled at us on the phone for not being there when our party was standing at the door and she was evidently at a different place (she claimed she went to 94 via Guelfa red after not finding us at 94 via Guelfa blue; but as far as we could tell there is only one address for "94 via Guelfa," so this is a complete mystery), (4) started off being very unpleasant when she finally met our party in person, before her temperament moderated. An extra key (for 4 guests) was not offered and would have been helpful, but no-one wanted to interact with the agent to request. Although the flat was clean and nicely decorated, it was obvious that 2 many beds had been squeezed in to maximize occupancy: (1) in the living/dining/kitchen area, there was a queen/full bed (rather than a pullout couch) so there was no sitting area other than the dining table, (2) an extra twin bed was placed in the bedroom, so that all of the guests had to sidle sideways through a 6-8 inch space between the queen/full bed and the wall in order to reach the bathroom on the far side of the flat (the picture shown must be a different bedroom than the one we had).
