Roaches, refrigerator didn’t work ,room was filthy

The property was revamped after Motel 6 took over the Thunderbird Inn. The room I had, had the rugs replaced with linoleum. Linoleum was not laid correctly, and maid my feet dirty enough to turn the tub black upon entering. The tub seemed to be spray painted, but the spray paint was covering parts of the wall, and peeling off the tub. The floorboards (molding) around the bathroom hadn't been cleaned moths (if ever). I took one of the damp face clothes, and ran it over part of the baseboard, and made a startling difference in shades of brown (it was almost white) in just a few seconds. On the up side. The bed was comfortable, the TV was new, and I really like the sink, and mirror. One thing I did miss, and I'm not sure if it was discontinued for good, or just because of the pandemic, When it was the Thunderbird, they had an excellent hot and cold breakfast buffet. It does not exist at this time.

It looked like a crack house. We drove around the property twice. Garbage in the parking lot spilling from the trash bins. People vaping (or something else) all over the parking lot. I wouldnt even check in. Went and found another hotel.

The front of the property wasn’t bad. Checked in and drove around back to where our room was to find a bunch of people hanging outside of rooms, wandering the premises. I was too scared to even get out of the car with my daughter. Drove right back to the front and returned the key to the room. And I don’t get a refund 😡

Didn't like anything. First room was filthy, light over vanity didn't work, and tub was dirty. Requested a change in rooms. Second room wasn't much better. TV was on the blink and left the motel in the middle of the night.
