One of Folly's Best! 3 by the Sea is a clean and comfortable 1 bedroom condo with hardwood floors throughout and a new king-size Tempur-Pedic mattress that makes sleeping heavenly in this oceanfront condo. It's located on the third floor of a 3-story elevated complex that sits directly on the beach. The building was recently renovated to feature new decking and upgraded A/C units. Wake up to enjoy the beautiful beach sunrise from your own balcony or relax on the porch and enjoy the warm sunshine watching the dolphins play while sipping your morning coffee. The night sky is perfect for stargazing while listening to the waves crash onto the shore. You even have access to a washer/dryer. You can park in your reserved parking space the entire time you are here because everything is within easy walking distance. You will find our condo clean and comfortable with tasteful furnishings and a fully equipped kitchen. Folly Beach Suites shares laundry & HVAC with the neighboring unit, a locked door leads to the adjoining laundry room. Please keep temperatures at recommended levels and remove clothes from washer/dryer as soon as possible. You can enjoy the beach from the balcony or by crossing our private boardwalk over the dunes onto the sand. During the summer, enjoy the water at one of the only sections of beach with a lifeguard. Those that like to fish can walk less than a block to the Fishing Pier to join other anglers working these very productive spots. Great restaurants, fresh seafood vendors, and a grocery store are all nearby. This unit is a great base to explore the beach and the Historic City of Charleston.

We had a great time during our stay. Perfect cozy place on the beach that allowed us to bring our dogs. The size of the condo is great for a couple. We will definitely be back in the future.

Folly Beach
Property was not in very good condition both inside and out. The stairs leading up to the property lacked a gripper on the top level. My partner missed that step and fell into the handrail. The HVAC did not work the entire weekend. We called maintenance and we were assured that the fan would turn off if we shut the system down. It was 75 deegrees in the unit, and we could not hear the ocean with the sound of the fan. Well, we were misled; the fan continued to pump out hot air and we /had to call maintenance again to turn off the fan, even though we had shut down the unit. The furniture was scuffed and uncomfortable.

Perfect place to stay for our escape from the daily grind
The condo was clean and well equipped for our group. The bed was extremely comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked with all appliances, cook ware, dishes and utensils that we could want during our stay. The three story walk up kept us fit during our stay. And the ocean views made the trip one of the more memorable ones we have taken. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to come back at another time.

The unit needs a good update including furniture and painting. The clothes dryer did not completely dry clothes. The location was great and the views from the porch overlooking the Ocean were fantastic! Would stay again but need to make some changes

Beach Front, Awesome View, for a Great Price
This apartment is a sweet home away from home. Apparently lived in and loved, but neat and clean. Can't beat the location and views for the price! We were able to bring our small, indoor dogs, which was appreciated. The dryer wasn't working properly, but that wasn't a big deal for us since the weather was mostly sunny (easy enough to air dry). We didn't call anyone about the dryer, so couldn't say whether it might have been easily remedied. We brought a few groceries but could have done without as restaurants are within easy walking distance. Overall, we found "3 By the Sea" to be family-friendly (for the able-bodied, no lift) and a good place to land for a quick beach vacay.

The property was fine, but a couple updates are needed…. Primarily needs a comfortable sofa. The fact it lacks counter space in the kitchen area can not be helped.
