In the historical district, Hôtel de Londres is in an area with great shopping. Chateau de Fontainebleau and Chateau de Vaux-le-Vicomte are local landmarks, and the area's natural beauty can be seen at Forêt de Fontainebleau and Montereau-Fault-Yonne Park.
family hotel of 3 generations; really good and friendly. Excellent breakfast. Didnt eat there. Parking is tricky but the castle car park is next door at a cost of course.
Absolutely lovely stay, wished we could have stayed long. Situated across from Fontainebleau and close to very good restaurants and shopping. The rooms are lovely, spacious, spotless, and very comfortable! The staff was always helpful, welcoming, and courteous! Breakfast was delicious. The hotel is 3rd generation and currently run by 2 family brothers. They do a wonderful job and I highly recommend!
Very nice hotel but not worth the amount charged.
What we like:- -The location is in front of the palace and walkable to INSEAD. -The service and breakfast is excellent. We still missed the freshly baked croissants and lovely coffee. -The spacious room. What we did not like:- -No air condition so we have to keep window opened at night and the street noise from cars and buses was too loud including the garbage truck that came early in the morning. -The toiletries provided were limited.
