It was clean and easily accessible from our car. Short walk for my sister who needs handicapped accessibility.

Convenient Location

Pros: The continental breakfast is very good and staff keep it clean and make sure everything is not running out.
Cons: Rooms may be a little outdated. My room only had one out of three lamps that work.
The location fit my needs. Easy access to the highway. Staff very helpful at recommending places to eat lunch and evening meals.

Fort Dodge

The room was booked on line...they had a mix up with poolside that we paid extra for but it was resolved. The pool was a bit chilly but was still enjoyed. The room was basically clean with a few carpet stains. Overall it wasn't bad for the price. It is located on the northwest corner of Fort Dodge which made it a little quieter. Breakfast was hot and good.

Starlite not so brite

Cons: The poolside rooms need to be remodeled. Paint is old. Rust by the curtain rods. The carpet looked disgusting.
Pro's: The staff was friendly Free Wi-Fi. Cost Nice 40-42 inch flat screen Con's: There was a wedding with LOUD music until midnight Dead roach on the bathroom floor. I guess that's better than alive. The room was right across the walkway to the hot tub. Not quiet at all. Spend the extra money and stay elsewhere.

I would not book again.

Pros: The beds and pillows were comfortable.
Motel is under renovation but that is no excuse for having only one front door open to keep the reception desk area cool. The lobby and hall ways to the rooms were extemely hot. I had requested an "accessable room" and got a bathroom with handles attached to a low toilet. The area around where the handles were attached looked like it had not been cleaned in ages. Also the ants and spiders crawling out of the loose wall tiles around the tub did not make me more comfortable about the cleanliness of the bathroom. And there was no soap in the bathroom! The restaurant serves the free breakfast in the breakfast room where the restaurant also serves their own lunch and dinners. (Standard banquet tables & stacking chairs)The free breakfast was a disappointment. The ususal fare except for the breakfast casadia and pizza. They ran out of the breakfast pizza by 8:15am and it took them 20 minutes to refill milk, the fruit basket and wipe down any tables. With only 4 guests getting breakfast at that time. For a major hotel chain, this location is very disappointing. I would not book it again.
