The Neptune is in a terribly sad state of disrepair--that's putting it nicely. When we checked in, the desk person, instead of answering the repeated phone calls she was receiving (phone was literally ringing off the hook continuously) she kept hitting the button to hang up w/o answering. This should've been our 1st red flag. On the paperwork it states that there are absolutely no refunds or cancelations, period; 2nd red flag. The 5 star reviews on here are literally being purchased by the company; there's a sign that says if you leave a 5 star review, you could win a free towel rental ($20 otherwise) among other "prizes" on a wheel that you can spin. In the room, there were exactly 2 bath towels, no hand towel or paper towels, empty cupboards (advertised w/a working kitchenette,) a rusty metal shelf w/peeling paint in the bathroom that had a falling-apart door handle that I'd be afraid to close, for fear of getting locked in & a spring mattress w/troughs on both sides/a hard support running down the middle, creating a hump. We actually considered sleeping in our rental car due to the awful state of the room. I have absolutely no clue how this hotel is rated on a "3 star level"--1 star is too much for the Neptune IMO. The $50 addtn'l cleaning fee on top of a $50 "resort fee/per night," is absolutely nuts--if I can attach pics, I will. Otherwise, imagine caked dirt on the air vent's face/lamps, duct taped window air unit & halfa** repairwork all over the room. Beach looked ok.

Not worth the rate paid at all. A/C didn't work, poor property maintenance and condition. Had to stay here out of necessity. Booked room for two nights and left after the first. Didn't bother asking for a refund, that's not their policy.

First thing is the amazing customer service and support we have received since the moment we arrived! George is an incredible person! He made sure any need was met! Second … LOCATION! 10 steps from our front door to the beach! Absolutely stunning views from any window in the room! Thank you Neptune and George for a wonderful vacation ♥️

All staff were rude, refused to give us what we paid for, hotel charged us over $700 in additional fees including incidentals, had to pay to use the towels. We had no AC, No working Outlets, no working oven/ stove, no cookware, no working toaster. Our windows didn’t open to get air. From desk staff was disrespectful and had absolutely zero customer service. We paid extra money for an ocean view and they originally gave me the keys for and then before finishing check out they changed it and said I have you an extra bed instead…. Our room was 3 blocks from the check in location, no stores close by. All around the entire trip was miserable. I will never stay at this hotel ever again. The ads stated there was continental breakfast and there wasn’t, the ads didn’t state there as going to be $40 additional fee per day per guest and $100 additional per guest per day for incidental’s along with $20 towel fees per TOWEL. The confirmation email received after booking told us the information after booking and the rates were different from what the disrespectful chick at the desk made us pay. Literally the WORST experience ever! Also, I’d like to add that a day after being in our miserable room they assigned another guest to the room and they walked in with me and kids in the room. DO NOT RECOMMEND STAYING HERE.
