The overall Value was a positive When the room had not been entreated for towels or making the bed, nothing actually, the manager quickly remedied the issue.

Evacuated by Hurricane Matthew

Location: Location was across the beach off of Hwy 98. We had to cross 4 lanes of traffic to get to the private beach access. Not recommended!!!
This hotel is dated but it did its job for a few days. Our room was clean, smelled a little musty but overall it was a cheap place to lay head on a pillow every night. The staff was very nice and pleasant to talk to. Our room had a bed, sleeper sofa, t.v., table and 2 chairs, dorm sized fridge, dishwasher, stove, microwave, sink, dishes, bathroom, a place to hang your clothes. FYI, the room did not have a hair dryer.

Resort, it's not.

We were disappointed upon arrival. This was a hotel that converted hotel rooms into kitchenettes. The door sticks requiring slamming to close. The only nice thing at this hotel was the indoor pool and hot tub.

Cheaper than most...could use some upgrading

Location: We enjoyed the diner in the front parking lot. It was delicious for breakfast.
The indoor pool and jacuzzi were nice, although both were full of children most of the time. Not really a great place for adult serenity. The gym was ok. Elliptical worked great but my husband was too tall for the weight equipment to be used properly. So that was disappointing. The room was big enough for the 2 of us, but the linens and towels were really rough, especially after being in the sun all day! OUCH!! Also, the tile flooring was really dirty. We noticed the bottoms of our feet were turning black from walking in there. To get to the beach you have to cross busy Hwy. 98 which was kind of a pain, but I knew it would be going in. It's cheaper than most in the area, so if you can deal, this is a deal. We didn't know ahead of time that a $100 hold would be charged to our credit card as a cleaning deposit, just in case we trashed the room. Hoping it will be cleared in the next day or two. We checked out yesterday.

Sweet staff

The 2 interactions I had with the staff, checking in and checking out, both staff members were very sweet and accommodating. The bed was comfortable but the room had an odor that triggered 3 asthma attacks in my 7 hr stay. The common areas were very pretty but room was dated and dirty feeling.
