We loved the room and being close to the many restaurants in town. Although we understand that the actual dining room was under repair, we hoped that there would be a welcoming and comfortable bar area where we could lounge and enjoy the fireplace. Unfortunately this was not possible as the bar had to be converted to dining area because of the construction.

Dear Theodore,Thank you for taking the time to give us a five star rating, Unfortunately due to extreme weather event the roof caved in, we had to close the Canavan's Restaurant and accommodate diners in the Moa Bar.We hope to see you again in the near future.

Fantastic! We were stranded due to road closures after heavy rain and they made us feel at home and comfortable and safe and informed. Definitely recommend!!! Have dinner at Alice May restaurant nearby!!!
