Clean and Comfy

Pros: Comfy Beds, Hot Tub, Hot Cocoa
Cons: Muffins in the breakfast area for us early departures
Location: Safeway and Liquor store across the street! Short drive to Winter Park Resort and surrounding activities.
We arrived after an amazing day snowboarding at Winter Park and the check-in staff was great. Very up-beat and friendly explaining to us how to get to the indoor pool and hot tub, as well as in the lobby where there is always hot coffee, tea, or cocoa WITH marshmallows available. Entering the room was a nice surprise it was bigger than I expected with a lil Kuerig machine, refrigerator, microwave, and a great TV. The pool was small but we were the only ones in it and the hot tub was nice and hot. Very relaxing. Climbing into bed with a few bumps, bruises, and plenty of sore muscles was a delight. The beds were soft and comfy with great pillows. The hotel is on the edge of town making it a quiet night as there were very little outside lights or noisy traffic. Looking out the window you could see stars! It was a great stay at a great price to avoid traffic back to Denver after skiing. Left the next morning at 5:15 to have a great drive back to Denver with no traffic and got to work with plenty of time to spare.

Great hotel in convenient location

Pros: Cleanliness and condition
Location: Conveniently located to nearby Winter Park and Grand Lake. Lots of outdoor activities available.
We're familiar with Holiday Inn Express and like staying there when traveling because we know it will be decent. This hotel far exceeded decent. Friendly staff, newly updated finishes and furnishings, very clean and well kept. We will definitely be back when we're in this part of Colorado.

Nice stay here!

Pros: Location and cleanliness.
Cons: Nothing
Location: Several restaurants within 1 mile drive. There is just one main drag in Fraser/Winter Park. Not a town like Aspen or Breckenridge to walk around
Staff said the hotel opened two years ago but it looked like new. Very comfortable and clean. I would highly recommend this hotel.
