We have rented several times in the past. Never had an issue. They are cabins. There's a rustic charm.. This was our Anniversary weekend getaway. We had our kids with us. We were moved 3x. Cabins were dirty, we could wait. No big deal. No water! That was a big deal! Upgraded again. Final cabin ,gal cleaned while we waited. Coffee had old moldy coffee in it. All was cleaned. Never came back with towels. Left supplies and dirty linen on the porch and i cant make coffee cause there are no filters. We've never had a bad time here. This was by far the worse.

Worst experience I ever had

Pros: Nothing. Shame on you guys!!!
I had booked a cabin through Travelocity and was charged upfront for 2 nights stay in a economy cabin (over $320 for 2 nights). Upon reaching the property , there was no representative to talk to. There was a notice on the curb side to go to a certain general store (about 2 miles from the property) . Upon reaching the store the manager (who doubles as the property manager too), told me that there was no reservation in my name even I showed him the confirmation and the amount already charged. He said he could not do anything about it and also told me that the charges for an economy cabin is much less. Calling Travelocity and going through multiple persons (tranfered from one dept to another), did not help and I was left stranded for the night. Luckily I was able to find another accommodation in a nearby Comfort Inn hotel. Do not book through Travelocity as if something goes wrong they will not help. The operators are located in another country (in this case I was talking to someone in philipines), and they are of no help whatsoever. I have told my credit company (Amex), to get the refund as Travelocity would not even confirm if they will get me my money back.

Cozy stay

Location: There are a few hotels closer to Sequoia but they are more expensive. It's about a 15-ish minute drive from the room to the park entry
This is a good, no-frills place. There's nothing fancy about it but I enjoyed the stay. If you are staying in Three Rivers then chances are you are there to go to Sequoia National Park and will not be spending much time in the room anyway. So for my purposes, it was perfectly adequate: comfy bed, shower, great scenery, easy to find, satellite TV for relaxing at the end of the night. The only negative is that it is right on the main street so you could hear the noise, but it was not enough to wake me up once I was asleep. If I go back, I will stay here again.

Nice cabin

We stayed here one night. The people who run the establishment were very pleasant. The only issues were due to the low river levels the water at the cabin had a sulfer smell. However they made sure we had plenty of bottled water to drink. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had all we need.

Moldy smell.unclean

Cabin was so unclean we chose to leave immediately. Refrigerator had trash in it. Rugs were dirty. We were told water "may have sulfur taste" and we were given a 2 1/2 Gallon container of water. No river within view.Faded, worn, dusty bed covers. Check in was at general store about 1/4 mile down highway. Store was closing at 9 pm and someone was "on call" if needed. Other person checking in was quoted $150./night and we were billed over $400/night.
