mountain cold

the hotel staff was exellent ready to help at every turn! great place clean wish i would of requested balcony other than that! great job guys! thanks mike ingle

Was not happy with this hotel at all, will not stay there again. The staff was not very friendly. The outdoor pool was not open yet as many other hotels had their's open, my kids were disappointed.

Clean and comfortable

Pros: Free breakfast, Free Internet
The room and bathroom were very clean. Fully stocked with the usual niceties. The staff was friendly and professional. The breakfast spread was outstanding! And the afternoon cookies and cocoa were a delightful treat. The location was good for seeing both Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. Easy access to trolly system. If you are planning a visit to the Gatlinburg area I would highly recommend a stay at this hotel.

Dirty room and rude service

Pros: Free Internet
Cons: Noisy, dirty, rude staff
I made this reservation for my parents 51st wedding anniversary present. THey arrived and immediately were treated rudely at check in. Then when they finally get to the room it was dusty and the refridgerator was in the floor. They requested another room but was denied a room change. So they spent 3 nights in this room that is also located next to the maids room where the door slammed all night. The maid never cleaned the room or changed the linens. Any time they voiced there complaints to the staff at the front desk the concerns were dismissed. Needless to say this is not the anniversary honeymoon I had in mind for my parents.

Great Hotel but too soft of a bed left me with back pains

Pros: Free breakfast, Quiet
The staff at the hotel were super nice, friendly and helpful. The room was very clean but I woke up everyday with horrible back pains because the beds were too soft--there was no support. This is my only complaint about this wonderful hotel. We ate at Flapjacks every morning (next door) and we played mini golf, it was a great time. I would recommend this hotel to people but be prepared about the bed situation.

Very good stay

Room is clean, the location is quiet but close to the entrance of the Great Smoky Mountain National Park and the downtown Gatlinburg. I thought the bed is a little too soft. I could have more blanket instead of turning on heat (in May). No major problem.

Fair Hotel Not Worth the Extra Cost

We normally stay downtown and thought we would stay at a different hotel. This hotel is very far from the majority of shops and restaurants. A good half hour walk at least. This hotel was clean but our room did not come with a microwave or refrigerator. We were told we would have to upgrade to a suite for an additional cost to get them. The free breakfast is ok and there is a pancake restaurant next door. The cost to stay at this hotel was almost double what we normally spend and it did not come with a fridge/micro which we were not told. All in all not a bad stay just not worth the extra money especially when the room did not have a refrigerator.
