Very nice property. Out of the hustle and bustle of the downtown Gatlinburg, but it takes 30 or 40 minutes to get to Smoky Moutain National Park. We would go again.

I booked a one bedroom at the Bent Creek Golf Resort for November 19th-21st , 2020 on Travelocity’s website. The description said it sleeps 4 which is what I was looking for. My wife, three kids, and I were making the trip, but my son is only 2 so I didn’t see the need to include him in the count when I was searching for sleep accommodations as he was going to be in a pack n play. We arrived around 9 PM after a 6 hour drive to check-in. The young lady at the counter then informs me they could not check me in because we were over the occupancy limit for the room. I later found this policy detail about counting all children regardless of age is in the fine print on Diamond’s website, but I could not find where it was listed in the description on Travelocity’s website! She was nice enough to check for a larger suite, but there were none available. Luckily, we were able to find a hotel room about a half hour away, but Diamond Resorts is refusing to refund our money even though we showed up and wanted the room. After a few attempts contacting the resort and Travelocity and spending a couple hours in the process of talking to customer service, we haven’t been successful. They refused to check us in yet took over $600 from us!! How’s that for customer service and being family friendly?!

The condo was very comfortable and clean. We enjoyed our stay there. The golf course needs a lot of maintenance and it was disappointing.

We were upgraded to a suite that was amazing. I just wish we could have had more time to enjoy it however when we checked in it was later evening so we headed back into Gatlinburg to eat dinner (what feels like a 20-35 minute drive this place is 11 miles away with speed limits of 35-45 all the way out). The front desk and all employees leave at 11:00 pm. Unfortunately we left without checking our room so when we got back grabbed all our stuffed and took it all the way up the stairs we found out the room keys did not work, neither one of them. Finding the emergency number to call was not so easy as I was tired and they gave a number with a 9 in front of it and not an area code so after our kind neighbors let us use their room phone and the first page getting no answer my husband tried the pager with the local area code and we finally got a call back about 20 minutes later, we then had to wait at least another twenty for the person to show up. Everything was great,staff very friendly and out going, but I would hesitate to stay here again without checking the key before leaving. I will say they said not to let it near any thing that could de-magnetize them ie: phones, fitbits etc they are that sensitive! Which we did not we kept it in the cup holder in the car? I also would think twice because they do not have any staff on duty 24 hours a day. That is why I did not give an excellent rating.

Great resort out of the hustle and bustle of Gatlinburg just wish it had a restaurant

Pros: Quiet, clean, friendly staff
Cons: No free Internet, no restaurants, no free wifi
Thus is our second stay here and we enjoyed both times there. I was not impressed with the standard room after staying in the deluxe room previously. The deluxe was larger, had a fireplace and screened porch overlooking the rear lawn. I would definitely stay in the deluxe again on my next trip and I recommend the top level as it is quieter too. The staff was friendly and helpful as always and everything was very neat and clean. The indoor pool and spa are clean and inviting. I also think just as before, that the resort should be gated with security like many other luxury resorts. The wifi internet not being free and pay by day was not expected. I actually played a couple of rounds of golf at their world class course, but be warned that it is not for beginners like me. The course was nice and well maintained and the staff was helpful. I was not particularly fond of having to watch for cars as they meander through the course to each homes on the back side. All in all, it is a great place as it is since nothing is perfect, but a few small improvements would be nice. Thanks Bent Creek !

Good away spot and quiet location

Pros: Quiet
Cons: Nothing close
Stayed for a long weekend in early fall. The property is away from the Pidgon Forge area. The room was spacious for two with a full kitchen and all the utensils and dishes were in very good condition. Used the Weber gas grill in the common area which was a plus. The fitness room was adequate with Cybex treadmill machines. The property is set up like a time share so no daily maid service and you have to take out your trash. Bed in bedroom is only a double but was comfortable. Has sofa in living room that has fold out bed but did not use. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The main drawback is that there is no cell service if you have AT&T. Must go down towards Gatinburg about four miles to get service. Golf course is next to property and was not busy. Could walk on and play. Use if you want to have a quiet weekend. Is a long distance from tourist area so would not recommend if going to do sites, like Dollywood. Would make a return stay.

This place books wrong rooms on Internet - horrible!!!!

Cons: Nothing close, No free Internet, Noisy, doors are loud!!!
I booked a stay in February for my anniversary. I booked a deluxe room online that included a fireplace and jacuzzi. Instead when we got there we got a standard room. I called and told the front desk and they researched the problem, called me back and told me I was wrong and had booked a standard room. I went up to the front desk with my confirmation and was told that room was not available, and it was booked incorrectly by reservations!! The only thing they offered for their mistake was a $10 refund a night for the difference in room rates!!! What was to be a relaxing weekend started out very stressful! Nice place, clean but this whole experience left me and my husband upset and we will NEVER return again!!!!

Excellent trip!!!

I stayed here for almost a week with my husband and 2 small children (3 and 20 months). We had an excellent experience. The room was clean and had enough space so that you didn't feel cooped up. It was well supplied with all the necessities you would need such as utensils for the kitchen, soap to clean dishes, and detergents to do laundry and use the dishwasher. It was relativly quiet, beside when people would come in and out of their rooms the doors would slam. The staff was great, we had an issue with our toilet not working and they came and started working on it within 10 minutes of calling and after they were done the front desk called to make sure we were taken care of. The pools were nice and were very kid friendly. Overall it was excellent and we plan on staying here the next time we come to gatlinburg.
